What is Diabetes

Here is the Definition of Diabetes as explained by DiabetesUK.

Diabetes mellitus is a condition where the amount of glucose in the blood is too high because the body cannot use it properly. Getting Ready to Launch - The importance of a positive attitude

We're nearly there and thank you to all of our members for their input so far. Already our connections spread as far a Germany, Canada and the USA. WOW!

Fear of the unknown is common with newly diagnosed and one of the reasons for this site is for people to receive support, reasurance and information about their diabetes.

One of our members is writing a dissertation about the importance of having a positive attitude towards the management of diabetes.
