Developing a computer-based self-management programme for adults with Type2 Diabetes
We are a group of e-Health researchers based within the UCL Research Department of Primary Care & Population Health (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/pcph/research-groups-themes/e-health-pub
) and we are looking for adults with Type2 Diabetes to help us with our research study.
We are developing an internet-based programme to help people manage their diabetes themselves, and will be holding focus groups and interviews in London over the next few months to try to find out what people might want from such a programme. As the programmes we are testing are in English, volunteers must be able to understand spoken and simple written English and be prepared to contribute to a group discussion in English. In the future, we are hoping to be able to extend this to include people who speak other languages.
We can cover travel expenses up to £10 and if you take part in the study we will provide you with £25 as a token of our appreciation for your time and effort.
If you would be willing to help us with our research, please contact Charlotte Dack ( firstname.lastname@example.org, tel: 020 7794 0500 ext: 36323). Further information about the study can be found here: http://www.diabetes.org.uk/Research/Get-involved-in-research/Diabet...
